I Have Hope For Her Poem by Rika Horridge

I Have Hope For Her

Rating: 5.0

Hands hold
Bodys touch
It sends a jerk
It sends a rush

Hands hold firm
Their breathing grows slow
As they lay together
In the snow

Hearts grow heavy
Feelings of doubt
Words go flying
Feelings come out

Now out in the open
Now everyone see's
But faces look grim
And fills her with unease

Hands hold tighter
Bodys grow closer
Is this what she wants
I Have hope for her

His Hands go places
Places unseen
Behind closed doors
She hopes no one see's

His hands are always grabbing
Wanting her more
She looks up hoping
Is he worth fighting for?

Tears go spilling
When no ones around
She looks at the marks he left
And cries without a sound

He's really close now
Pulling her down, pushing inside
This is not what she wants
But its too late now

He gets up and tells her goodbye
She sits all alone starting to cry
If her father only knew
I think he would cry too

They stay together
A few months more
But trouble is brewing
She knows for sure

It's spring time again
And she begins to trust
He seemed so perfect
Until he fell to lust

Her best friend or so she thought
Once she saw what they did her jaw almost dropped
She said goodbye to a best friend
And now its time for Him and her to end

She gave her love
She gave herself
She gave something most dear
Something more than wealth

She wished she would have saw
Through all his flaws
I wish I would have seen
What he was doing to me.

A lesson learned dearly, how many young things have gone down that path before her. Read mine - The Bloom of Youth - Adeline
