I Have Left The Garden Poem by Clive Culverhouse

I Have Left The Garden

I have left the garden
but do not think of me as gone
the grass for me is once again greening
growing afresh, flowers to bloom
I walk under budding leaves
as I had left them falling
garden parties are now
taking place without me but oh
an alternate here, awaiting them anew
chatter and laughter, distant
and I, through an opening gate
before its aging creak, return
to an ambient when
in a where of eternity
