I Have Made A Vast Hidden World Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Have Made A Vast Hidden World

I have made a vast hidden world
It will probably disappear
Without ever being known
I should try to save it
To edit to order it
To make it somehow presentable-

But it is too vast
I do not know where to begin
I am overwhelmed by all I have done
Which may well
Amount to nothing-

I cannot be the judge of myself
But somehow,
I feel there is real value
in what I have done

And I do not know what I can do now
To save it.
