I Have No One To Walk With Me In The Night Poem by Meghan

I Have No One To Walk With Me In The Night

Rating: 4.0

these four walls make me antsy
the heat creeps down my throat
outside the cool calm night
entices my brain's refuge
it's times like these
that I miss you so much
I have no one to walk with me in the night
to melt the ice from my palms
and wonder in amazement
how many stars fill the sky
my stomach feels as though it
might lurch up my throat
and my heart a wretched
empty shell
I am alone in this dark hot house
surrounded by these four walls
and though the sky is clear as a bell
I have no one to walk with me in the night
it's times like these that I miss you so much
I am alone
and I have no heart to embrace me
