I Have Now A Fullness Inside Poem by Mohammad Younus

I have now a fullness inside,
one that could never be emptied.
I used to feel void inside, barren,
devoid of knowledge and wisdom.

Now, a spiritual feeling takes hold,
I feel like I am light, not born from,
Ascetic practices or Yoga exercises,
but a light deep within, engulfing
my soul.

The fire of love burns inside,
a bonfire of rubbish thoughts.
Once I surrendered to the Greatest Lord,
my heart filled with His radiant light,
surrounded by His love.

I felt safe, protected from all harm,
from my wicked nafs, my eternal foe,
He delivered me from the world's
deadly charms, now I am free.

Though life seemed better
following nafs's way,
freedom came in shattering illusions,
escaping delusions of duality.

His undying, boundless love,
in a sacred hour, redeemed me,
Set me free from Satan's hold,
from my wicked nafs.

The veil lifted, revealing to me,
the One-reality, the absolute unity,
divine light awaiting me, when I pass by.

So, I travel the broad divine way,
on the wings of my soul,
constantly protected from all foes,
Internal and external both,
by His grace, in every way.
