I have sat by the sea
Watching wave upon wave
flood the sand
As it mesmerizes me.

I have sat by the sea
Rolling wave upon wave
Its cascading spray
Minimize me.

I have sat by the sea
Surging wave upon wave
Drowning the strand
Indifferent to me.

I have sat by the sea
Engulfed by the ocean
Feeling its motion
Washing through me.

I have sat by the sea
Rocked by its flow
Hearing its message
Here is eternity.
