I Have To Forfeit This Race Poem by No Reason To Care

I Have To Forfeit This Race

Rating: 5.0

it's hot outside
inside I'm cold
when did life get so old?

it's a loud life
my silent heart
being stabbed with a knife

they tell me to stay strong
they say don't quit
but I find myself thinking
I'm done with all of it

I'm finding it so hard
to keep a smile on my face
if life was a competition
I would forfeit
this race
