I Haven'T Seen Him Since. Poem by Chasity Dorsey

I Haven'T Seen Him Since.

There is a man in the night who goes thieving,
jewels, unquestionable things.
He stole something for me,
haven't seen him for weeks.

I'll tell you how he did it...
He walked up to me, with a heart of gold, and
said, ' I'll trade you.'
I repiled, ' No, thank you.'
He smiled, wanting.
I smiled wanting as well, to share.
To love
To hope.again.
So I offered him another part, hand in hand,
a single gem, my heart.

and as I said,
I haven't seen him since.
