But Pain. Poem by Chasity Dorsey

But Pain.

Oh the beauty of forgotten love,
TO mesmerize
to capitalize
to make it a government,

trapping the freedom of your soul, it bears
few soothing matters. Nothing compares to love. Nothing compares to love.
But pain.
