I Heard About Jesus Poem by Royston Nella

I heard about Jesus and went to find Him
For He was a healer and could forgive sin
Then when I found him I fell at His feet
and asked Him to heal me and make me complete.

He reached out and touched me and made me whole
and I worshipped Him for saving my soul.
Jesus has healed me redirecting my life
changing it to one of service and self-sacrifice.

I now follow Him and He stays beside me
and we will walk together for eternity.
He raised me up and put me on His shoulders
He raised me up to more than I can be.*

*These last two lines were part of a song that we sang
