I Heard Your Call. Poem by mariam khan Farah Abdulahi

I Heard Your Call.

Rating: 5.0

I heard your call today yet I did not come.
You picked me up and showed me the way.
But I ran away.
I heard your call again.
Still I did not come.
You picked me up and showed me the way.
Who are you?
I hear you.
I feel you.
You pick me up and show me the way.
You took me from my pain.
For that I’m truly grateful.
Yet I still walked away.
I hear you.
I feel you.
You picked me up and showed me the way.
When all others gave up on me.
You stayed to show me the way.
Now I turn to you.
As I hear your calls.
