I Hope You Regret
You know
You’ll regret this one-day
You’ll know
The truth when I say
You’ll hate the day
When I prove myself right
So go ahead
And put me down
Say I have an attitude
That makes me frown
Go ahead and put me down
Just prove me right
I used to have hope
In my heart
That we would grow closer
Not further apart
But the truth was a dart
With a terrible bite.
