I Invite Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

I Invite

I invite

I invite
Let us walk
Walk too long
The time that I recall
I was child.

My toys, my baby goats
Or the lambs
For a time was donkey
On and off…was too big.

Here, there, I tried to get bell
Copper bell was like cat
With its mouth a crack
Inside it a marble
I shook it, for
A song.

And dreamed; daydreams
My toys went with shepherd
By sunset they returned
The bell rang and I ran
Gathered them
We played.

Want you back my old days
Want you back my childhood
Want you back my dreams
Want you back the nature
Fresh air of mountains
Hopes, dreams…want you all
All of you as a lot.
