I think of you
Every now and then.
Ever since you left,
And wanted to be friends.

I don't really know
What happened between us.
You said that it was for the best of us.
But, why do I feel sad
Every time I think of you?
I just thought that the love
We had was true.

I want to know why
We had to part from each other,
And I want to know
If you are doing okay or not.

Valentine's Day is on Monday,
And I wish that we could be together.
Because I miss you so much,
I just want to see you,
Spend some time with you on that special day,
To know that I have someone so special,
And that I am special to someone I love so much.
But I guess that won't happen.

I just wanted you to know
That I will always love you,
And I will always think of you.
Until the day I can have you forever?
