I Know I Shouldn'T But I Do Poem by Stephen Martin II

I Know I Shouldn'T But I Do

Rating: 5.0

I know I shouldn't but I do.
They say women can tell,
but did you see the glance,
the little look I couldn't resist.

Isn't love percieved perfection?
Well I can't stop looking into your eyes,
until you open your mouth to speak,
and I am mesmerized by your words,
and anxious to see the full picture.

I want to take in all of you.
I want to feel the texture of your skin,
but the sign says do not touch,
so I just walk away,
and fight the urge to look back.

Then for the next two days,
I replay what you said.
I see you with my closed eyes,
but know that it can not be.

I know I shouldn't but I do.
