I know it's time to fly for you

To spread your wings...enjoy the view

I'm thankful you have the courage too

Fly on your own and see things through


I may worry at what's pursued

That's just what we mother's do

I pray your stronger than peers construe

And your choices are clear and not untrue


But you must understand my point of view

Once needed for years...now subdued

I want to give you space renewed

And not step on your proverbial shoe


All I ask is you still rememeber me too

Just a few words or two

To keep away the lonely blues

And make me know you still love me true
