I Know Women Poem by Godwin Okpeh

I Know Women

I know women
When they get your trust
And know that it's them you love
They turn their back on you
And on your face they'll spew

I know women
They don't regard the heart that loves them
They prefer to anchor to the top ten
They like to sit with the rich guy
And introduce you to him as a passer by

I know women
They love you best when your pocket is greasy
And desert you when you're no longer fancy
They greet you 10,000 times before your first date
And curse you terribly later on and call you an ill fate

I know women
They claim to love yet put you under a spell
And while with you their bodies they sell
They tell you you're their desire
But evaporate the moment you retire

I definitely know women
I know them
They're all the same
They have the same body parts
So they decided to toil with men's heart
I know women
