The Mirror - Poem by Godwin Innocent
With great artistic skill
I sketch yet require no bill
Whether you're in motion or stay still
My accuracy you cannot predict.
Staring at you from afar
Hung on the wall or beside your car
Whether fair or black as tar
My drawing's the way you are.
So long you stare my job is done with great speed
With years of experience I'm not a kid
Whether you're generous or full of greed
My dignity remains solid.
Expensive as jewel but common as people
My brightness compared to light is triple
Whether you are all fit or cripple
My path is stable and clear as crystal.
