I Know You're Imperceivable Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Know You're Imperceivable

I know you're imperceivable,
but I feel you in my heart.
Though my eyes can't see you,
I know one truth: you see through my gaze.
Yet, I catch your reflection in the mirror
of your vast creation.

I hear your name—that is my name,
for you are nameless.
I know I know you not as you must be known.
Still, I love you, and I call you by my name.
I cannot call you by any other name,
for you are beyond names.

The empty stare that rises to meet you
is cut by the limit of my eyes,
for you lie beyond human sight.
Yet, in my mind, a wondrous movie plays—
the story of your being and your infinite attributes.
No one has their own being or traits,
for all are manifestations of your being and attributes.

The body of your creation,
so immensely beautiful,
and your mind, creating, recreating,
sustaining, and maintaining—
they do not age and will never
in any way wither like the old.
Your cosmic plan, beyond our grasp,
never grows old, ever absolute.
I hear your silent cry,
wishing I'd understand your plan,
and act with conscious alignment to it.

I know time rests in the grip
of your mighty hands.
Like others, I wish I could turn it back.
But to think I could drifts away
from you is pure folly.
So when you come to awaken me,
my eyes, blank with wonder, stare.
Yet, I smile, for I know you are truly there.
You wish me to live as per your plan—
I cannot drift from your will, nor do I regret it.
For in the end, I realize my heart is your heart,
and it can never forget you.
