So long as I am here
I am in fear,
I fear losing my strength,
I fear as I suffer from
sorrows, tensions, jealousies
and rivalries.
I fear, I fear due to my desires.
I fear as I lack true knowledge.
Dear Poet, In acknowledging our fears, even owning them, do we not in fact make them weaker? Are they already not on the road to their own destruction. Surely with this poem you 'out yourself' as one of the 'wisest men' on this site whatever the quality of the poem. I am giving you a 10.0 for humility and honest. Too bad I can't vote twice! : -)
Lack of knowledge is not good... The poet did well in that poem... I like his style.
