I Lay - Poem by Carrilyn Fitch

You left me
You were always there
You made me feel useful
You made me feel special

But you're gone now
Now the feeling is gone
Now there is a hole in me
Where you once were

Now I lay here
Tears crawl down my face
I flood my insides with tears
Filling the hole you left
