I Let Go Poem by romona lacey

I Let Go

Rating: 5.0

Too far into my head I sank
I felt the pressure of my lingering thoughts
They weigh on me like the mass of the Earth
Spinning and spinning, I fall
Farther to the parts of me I wish not to see
I greet my mind with fingers hidden behind my back
I tell my head I'm fine
Spinning and spinning, I fall
until I meet the part no one likes
no one sees
I smile with fear
sadness
pain
and agony

I let go
I push the dark parts to suffer in silence
Too far in my head, I sank
I let go
I pull the finale trigger

Fingers behind my back
I tell my head i am fine
