I Liberate Myself From Vain Desires Poem by Arwen Lee CW

I Liberate Myself From Vain Desires

Rating: 2.6

All alone in the moonlight beam
I took a sip of wine from the bottle gourd jar
O warm wine did not sooth the forlorn feeling
Until a chill wind brushed my face

All of a sudden I burst into laughters
The burden and agony no longer matter
I finally liberate myself from vain desires
and return to my own state of nature.
