Quick, turn off the light.
Hide away.
Safe into the night,
You don’t need to show your face.
Hide in the many layers,
So no one can see.
Put yourself into your head,
No need for you to speak.
Breathe in deeply,
Try to open your eyes.
For you there is no
Safety in numbers,
Only in the night.
Where you don’t have to see,
You don’t have to realize,
All that you do.
All that you’ve become.
It’s okay to reach out,
Give me your shaking hand.
I will protect you,
From the evil of every man.
There is no reason to be
So afraid anymore,
For I am here,
And you don’t have to struggle anymore.
Give me your pain inside,
Come, let it out.
Give me your troubled times,
We will throw them out.
Come here into my arms,
Where I will keep you safe,
Wrapped in me you’ll be,
No need to hide away..
