If We All Want To Survive Poem by Bekah Tav.

If We All Want To Survive

There is no garbage big enough,
To fill our mistakes in.
There is no hug to hold us long enough,
So we don’t break apart.
There is no smile wide enough
To brighten my day.
There is no hope to lead me,
To be sure I’m going the right way..
Everyone, everyone in this world.
Has their own story,
Their own view of the world.
And in this place we must believe,
That we are all
Worth something.
Because no one can make it on their own,
We all need some place we can call our home.
We all need someone to care about us,
We all need a little faith to fill us.
Too many struggles to go alone.
Too heavy burdens to carry all own.
We all need to work together,
To help each other strive.
We all need to help each other
If we all want to survive.
