You were the one,
whom I trusted more than myself.
You were the one,
before whom my feelings seemed dwarf.

When my mind drifted to utopia,
you were responsible to get me back,
in to the world of reality,
where many emotions suffer a crack.

You and I together were,
always calculated to lead to lark.
My heart remonstrated,
and I heard a feeble voice say, ’ Hark! ’
‘Don’t u trust him,
‘coz it would be to late,
when u realize it.’
But still I believed you……

My world came shattered down,
when I first heard your friend say,
the excerpts of the talks that we had.
‘You broke my heart ’, this is what I daresay.

For the first time in my life,
I trusted someone so fast.
But what you did changed my heart,
and may be now on I’ll trust men at last.
