I Love A Good Day Poem by Queen Charles

I Love A Good Day

I love a good day
A day spent with those so dear
quality time spent in a way
A day without fear, worry or tear
Some say there's nothing as beautiful as the sun ray
but I acclaim there's nothing so beautiful as the smiled of the one you love, so rare.

I love a good day
What a beautiful day with a beautiful sight
Leave aside all that would happen and leave your fright
the green grasses at the sunrise a great delight
a good coffee will do, for a day so bright

I love a good day
A day to aspire
When the dew is still fresh and the morning light anew
A good life they say is what we all desire
The time is right to make it, before the grey hair is due.

And then when the night come
We all sleep with a satisfied heart
Though our hands may feel numb
we knew the day was a work of art.
And fall in a deep sleep for the next day to come.
We all love a good day.
