And a whole lotta sad

Love can be gentle
Yet hit you like a ton of bricks
Heal all your heartaches
Or make your stomach sick

Love can come sudden
Or take many, many years
Stir up a smile
Or bring out the tears

Love can come from the heart
Come from the head
Be an open book
That never gets read

Love can have boundaries
Be separated by years
Or make all hearts feel young
By removing all fears

Love can be true
Love can be kind
But you’ll never find a love
