I Love The Snow Poem by chris schwartz

I Love The Snow

I love the quiet of the snow.
Ice crystals dancing
On green holly branches,
Sifting the silence
From the skies
Dark clouds.
Lights glimmer
On the sidewalk
Of a busy world
Stopped to a halt
Fresh footprints
Trudging
On an everyday world
Where no one dares
To go.
Memories of kisses
Melt quickly on cheeks
Sting like icicles
Able to trudge
through
It's depth
If I want to
Or to Wreck it
In just one simple moment
Makes it pure
And virgin
Just as does
My love for you.
