Turn The Pages Poem by chris schwartz

Turn The Pages

Rating: 5.0

My life has been shattered,
And yours has been sheltered.
How could you have known
We would both
That the ending
Of our books
Would be the same?
We read, we educate ourselves
We live our lives
To the extent
That our lives allow.
But, we never dare
To dive into the pages
In life,
That we can't understand.
To do so,
Would mean that,
We too,
Are vulnerable
To the plunging decent
That the course of time
Dives us all into.
Enjoy and hide
In this small world;
While I, myself,
Am bored here.
I have done all
That I can.
And I am excited

To experience
What lies ahead.

In life we do not understand many things. Some things are opened and somethings are hidden. Life faces changes. Death is truth. An amazing poem is wisely penned....10
