Ten thousand ways to show you how I feel
Only three words to seal the deal
And baby I want you to know that it's real

Love is a word just thrown around
It's meaning is lost and it's worthless now
But I want you to know that I mean it when I shout
I love you
I love how you smile when you see my face
How you smack me down just to put me in my place
When I'm acting like a child in a losing race
I love you
Trust is the key to a working start
Babe I trust you with everything I hold close to my heart
I know you will be their when I'm falling apart

I feel closer to you than anyone in my life
Im happy with the fact that you are mine

Lovely poem. Yes, it does seem the words, 'I love you' can be said but be nothing more than words every now and then. Wonderful job. I've noticed you said you 'aspire to be a writer'.
