I Love You Poem by Cookie Matzii

I love you,
and you're unaware, I know.
Maybe you're thinking I like someone else,
but the truth is, my feelings I just can't show.

Whenever I feel your presence,
I become anxious, knowing not what to do.
I want to say, 'Hi! ', 'Hello! ' or maybe even,
'How do you do? '
But every time I attempt to do so,
I chicken out.
I just try to avoid you and walk all about.

I try to give my best with everything I do,
because just like I said,
'I really do love you'.

I know I've been denying what kept me feeling blue,
and how my friends can even tell how much it's true.
And now I've come to admit it too,
'I just can't seem to stop loving you.'

I've written a lot of poems,
yes, most of them have been all about you.
So now, I'm all out of ideas,
I better just tell poetry adieu.

Nah, I'm just kidding,
of course that can't be true.
But this poem may be the frankest I've done,
'cause here's another line from me saying,
'I simply do love you.'
