I Love You Anyway
This is the first I've seen
of this side of you,
It's not a pretty sight.
It makes no difference,
for we are who we are
and life is not a ray of sunshine.
These times will pass
and any harm done
will be erased.
Life is not
about being happy all the time,
It's healing from the times you weren't.
