I Love You So Much 2 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I love you so much I'm sitting
here and despite being intensely tired I can't sleep.
I just want you here in my arms and need
to know that I am doing right.
I've gotten it so very wrong in confusion
in the past I worry that somehow I will
hurt you again not realizing something I did.
I love you so much and need you in my arms
to just hold and be filled with your wholesome,
caring, loving warmth that I so need and crave.
Help me to know I'm doing good and you're happy.
I love you so much that I don't want to sleep
lest I miss a miracle and magical moment or
be delayed on it by even minutes or hours.
I love you so much I'll pass up sleep for days
just in hopes that I'll see or
hear something from my only lady.
I love you so much and inside I'm celebrating
knowing your love for me is abundant and growing.
I want you here to lie in bed all day and cuddle.
I hope this in no way sounds sad,
it's just from a tired mind expressing the love
and joy I hold inside wanting you here in my arms.
I love you so much please tell me it's soon.
I love you so much I'll give you everything
and hold you so tightly everyday through all time.
