Walking In My Sleep Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Walking In My Sleep

Rating: 5.0

I hear sounds of sweet music,
When I'm walking in my sleep;
And the sound of drumbeats,
Even in my sleep!
I can feel night breezes,
Bringing fragrances so deep!
I see twinkling starlight,
As I'm walking in my sleep.
I can feel the night's magic,
When I'm walking in my sleep;
And witness moonlight glory,
As the time appears to creep!
My burdens seem much lighter,
As I'm walking in my sleep;
I hold my faith much tighter,
'Cause I'm walking in my sleep.
My future seems much brighter,
Yes, I'm walking in my sleep,
And starlight seems much whiter,
While I'm walking in my sleep.
I hear far off singing voices,
As I'm walking in my sleep;
I wouldn't change my choices,
When I'm walking in my sleep.
I cannot feel my heartbeat,
When I am walking in my sleep-
So, I'll go just to heaven,
Walking in my sleep.
