I Love You To The Moon And Back - Poem by Josephine Taylor

I won't love you to the sun and back because it burns.
I won't love you to the stars and back because they stab. I won't love you to the milky way and back because it turns.
I will love you to the moon and back because the moon is closest to my heart.

Superb love poem of a child expressing I love you to the moon. In our state children treat moon as their maternal uncle and regularly express their love/emotions for moon. Loved the reasoning behind loving moon. Thanks for sharing.10 points. (Report) Reply
