I Love You Too Poem by Nikhil Chandwani

I Love You Too

The breeze is singing,
silently and pleasingly
Behind the rhythm of impatient raindrops.
On a tarnished metallic rooftops.
And as I listen, metaphors of you
spiral ahead of my eyes,
each one bouncing off the new,
in a kaleidoscope of recollections.
From time to time the breeze sings your distant heart
and I listen, and sometimes, I whisper
I love you too.
