I’m not going to stay
And let you have your way
I’m gone for good this time
I’m taking my songs and my rhymes
I don’t need to be walked on
I’m headed towards the dawn
Of my new life
Cutting the old out with a knife
You say you’re sorry and cry
Don’t think that I’ll fall for that lie
That’s all you’ve done
Since we’ve begun
I was so stupid not to have saw
You breaking every law
I’d cry and plead
But it would only make me more in need
Of you
And the belonging too
How pitiful I feel
Loving someone who wasn’t real
So I’m gone
It’s taken this long
To realize
It’s time to sever all ties
