I'M Groping For Words - Poem by kimberly craig

i'm groping for words
but they refuse to be groped
fondled
like some red light whore
lacking in respect
a cheap thrill
words must be caressed
phrases-enticed
seduced into being more
than cliched one liners
in smoke filled bars
with watered down drinks
as cats, words never come
when called
like dogs, there when needed
never groped
always respected
like coffee
