Its too late now
its my time to go
Im not 'leaving' you
I hope you know

Im like a flower
without enough sun
losing more and more energy
until I have none

I need my freedom
like I need my light
just like every day
needs its night

I need to grow up
and be on my own
but dont worry daddy
Ill come back home

I just need some time
to find who I am
I just need some time
to come up with a plan

Ill be okay
just give me some space
let me find my way

and Ill come back home
after I give freedom a whirl

to be your little girl

let your little flower grow
