I'M No Fisherman Poem by Paul Josef

I'M No Fisherman

Wide-eyed and wriggling, I toss about in your boat.
While you cast out you heart...
A bigger fish you now tote.

'This one's a keeper, worthy of boast
Throw the little one back,
Free it to the coast.'

I'm wrangled by hands that toss me a-sea.
Around me more hooks! !
Why can't I leave myself be?

I like this..poor fish! You must learn to stay away from the bait!
