We have an amazing connection
It's a phenomenally splendid feeling
I feel your presence explicitly
You're so close that I could touch you...
But when you get carried away
Busy in the world of work
Or with commitments to others
Whom I don't know and haven't met
Then I miss you
I miss our conversations
The banter, the laughter shared
Events and old times remembered
Exclusive moments that only we know about
It doesn't mean I love you less
Or feel less attached to you
But I miss you
Because I'm only human
