I want to be over you.
I want to truly hate you.
I want to see this through;
this promise to myself.
This promise to get over you,
to be the girl who dealt.
I no longer want to be in love,
especially not with you.
It really does hurt too much,
but love you is all I do.
Every time I see your face,
the worst part is knowing it will never be the same.
I just feel ashamed.
I shouldn't have said anything.
I'm sorry that I care for you,
I'm sorry you don't feel quite the same.
I'm sorry I can't get over you,
weak is my new name.
I'm sorry you don't feel as strongly,
I seem to be going about this wrongly.
But love is strong and I am weak,
love will eventually crush me,
my heart has broken beats.
I'm sorry I ruined everything,
I'm sorry I ever spoke.
I'm sorry that i want it all,
I'm sorry this isn't a joke.
I'm sorry I need a commitment,
I need a sure thing.
I need you to see,
I need you understand.
Because it's all or nothing,
you can't have your cake and eat it too.
I'm sorry all this is true,
I'm sorry I fell in love with you.
