Breathless, short answered
And pain I made you pay
It's like an uncureing cancer
The day you stepped away

I'm cutting all thoughts short
Because it always leads to you
Your one out of a sort
Even after the pain I put you through

Forgiveness is a long walk
That I don't want you to take
How can you forgive past the decisiving talk?
It was like a poison I forced myself to make

Still you'll look through all the trouble
And regrets caused by me
I just don't want to be held captive
To take the lie as my responsibility

The laughs I relive
The tears I still cry
My heart would still give
If your presence could just revive
