I'm Sorry Poem by Tasvet Corinthus

I'm Sorry

Life was bland and a bore,
A friend appears for eyes sore.
At first it was nothing to anticipate,
Soon She moved, a new roommate.

First nights were silent,
Awkward sentences sent.
As time flew by,
We were no longer shy

We'd laugh, talk and watch all day.
In our room we loved to stay,
True feelings we came to confess.
Then Her came, life became a mess.

The process repeated, a trio inseparable
One day Her and I, waiting for She
Her sat next to me, her face I could not see
A sudden move, a deep kiss, heartbeat unstable

The door swings open, carried books fall.
Utter disbelief, staring at us in the hall
I watched as her heart sinks,
"Look.. It's not what you think"

"Get away from me, $@#*ing liar! "
A sobbing pursuit, soon She was gone
I haven't seen She since those days on fire
Both have left, in that room none.

Wherever you are, I'm sorry.
I miss your eyes, deep navy and starry
If I could turn back time,
I'd love you forever mine
