He said, she said, the game of deceit and lies...

Tell the truth, don't lie and cheat,

cuz the circles you talk in have got me beat.

You have only caused momentary happiness in the midst of all her pain,

and now, because of you, she's broken again.

You say that's not the way it happened, but how can that be true?

Looking back on it, all the fingers point to you.

So what is this feeling of doubt? Maybe he's changed,

but it doesn't make sense-don't stop to rearrange.

He's done it before-what would stop him now?

I've got to stand my ground-stay strong somehow.

But that's so hard when I'm broken apart, hurting on the inside-

I wish there was something I could do-I've already cried.

I miss you so much, although it's been just two days,
