I Miss You - Poem by Andrea Myrtle

I wish I could undo what happened
and I wish I could get you back...
But the bitter truth lies in front of me,
and I have to go on..
I may have survived, and I may have lived,
but you took my soul along..
You were always there for me,
but now I lay alone...

I wish someone could hear my silent screams,
someone could bear my harrowing pain
as you did...
I need you there when I cry.

Everything that I do reminds me of you
and I love it when you come in my dreams.
I wish I could sleep forever...
and be with you...

No one has their solid ending..
I have to live with it... But then..
you come and go in my memories
like a shooting star in the night sky and I wish...
only if I could get you back...

the unique pattern carries the flow and one gets this suspense that is undying. (Report) Reply
