I Miss You Poem by Mpho Tsakata

I Miss You

Days have passed with what we had,

I guess that's how the truth had to hatch,

For the thief is one with the beholder of my heart,

Still haunted by her presence, regardless of drift aparts,

Cold and heartless I remain,

The moon can't shine without the sun,

It is the unfolded future I cannot frame,

Because of this marathon I have to run,

I wish possibilities would give hands of time a quick turn,

Then the memories would shape to a good and perfect way,

Immediate death to the life of everything we learn,

For a painless road can repeat itself over and over again,

I miss you so much that i hate distance,

Like heaven and earth we still can't meet and dance,

This unruly nature leaving its footsteps,

But I still really mis you, words with thousand facts.
