I Miss You Poem by Alfred Ramos

I Miss You

Rating: 5.0

I miss you, the real you
The one that used to smile everyday
Where have you gone, I miss the dawn
The one that you brightened up everyway
Did I misplaced you, I know I didn’t replace you
Like the red roses I gave you, I couldn’t save you
Somehow you sneaked away, didn’t come out to play
I miss you, the urge to kiss you
Still lingers, I let you slip through my fingers
Like lost ships in all the oceans, you took away all my emotions
Where can you be, lost in a fog of uncertainty
I can’t recognize, through the tears in my eyes
The fascination I saw in you, the imagination I struggled through
I miss you, the scent of honeydew
From the flowers in your hair, its’ just not there
Nothing is going to bloom; you took the aroma from the room
I miss you, couldn’t resist you
I miss you, you know it’s true
Truer words were never spoken, now all the memories are broken
How can I explain, how I will handle the pain
Because I miss you
