I Miss You More Now Poem by Omomayowa Yusuf

I Miss You More Now

Rating: 5.0

I miss you more now than I did yesterdae,
And I'll sure more than do on the morrow.
This feeling won't stop bugging at my dae,
Of being incomplete,
its a sorrow.

I miss you more now like I used to have you,
And I'll sure miss you just like I'll never ever do.
But this thought keeps nagging like hammer on anvil,
Of me missing something,
Like I lost a brown saddle.

I miss you more now like its song to my ears,
And I'll sure miss you more when I'm dancing to a duet.
This thought on my mind and its ticking like a clock,
Of me finding what 've lost,
While I'm standing at the dock

I miss you more now and I'm crying on my bed,
And I'll sure more than do when I'm tying up my net.
This feeling that I get while I'm staring at the floor,
Of me seeing what I seek,
When I open up my door.

A lovely romantic poem subtly penned. A well articulated piece that captured the loneliness and boredom, as well as bliss of love felt in the inner chamber of the heart. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
